My (2) Favorite Weight Loss Tips:
Use Nuts. Here's the Scenario. You are Absolutely Starving, but unfortunately you don't have time to go out to breakfast or lunch.
Instead of heading for the High Calorie, High Sugar, High Carb Snack Machine and/or Soda Machine ... Eat 10 Walnuts (about an ounce) and Drink 16 oz of Filtered, Spring, or Bottled Water.
This should hold you for about 2 hours. And, it is REALLY good for you. Sometimes I mix lightly salted cashews and walnuts (the salt helps make you feel fuller). Walnuts are excellent health food!
So keep a can of walnuts handy -- at your desk, in your car (wherever you find yourself busiest) and ALWAYS have Bottled Water handy.
Let the Stress Go ... Since stress is a HUGE trigger for eating and cravings, acknowledging this could help you save hundreds of calories a day. This does take some practice -- letting go of stress that is. You can try deep breathing or visualizing a relaxing scene (my favorite is lying in a lounge chair on the beach, listening to the waves). You Can speed things up.

Eat Mini-Mini Portions of what you Love. Eat what you Want, but take ONLY a few bites of it. If you're dining out, take the rest of it home in a doggie bag. If you are at home, wrap it up. This goes for Any high calorie meal.
Treat yourself to a Bite or Two of Rich Chocolate Cake or Single Cookie. NOT the Whole piece of cake or Whole Box of Cookies. I LOVE a super rich dark chocolate cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. I take a slice home (only a slice!) and it takes 4 days for me to eat the whole slice.
